Field of Fire: Site of the Mussel Slough Shooting
The picture below shows approximately where the shooting took place during the Mussel Slough Tragedy. The picture shows the field, owned by the Warmerdam family, in late April 1986, less than a month before the 106th anniversary of the event. The view is looking north from Elder Avenue.
